Dinner tickets sold out
The dinner tickets for the BC gig at JIP on friday night (30/5) are sold out! Entrance tickets will be sold at the door. Ben Carbine and the 18 Wheelers will be entering the stage at around 22.00.

Piteå dansar och ler
Ben Carbine & the 18 wheelers will play at "Piteå dansar och ler" festival July 24 this summer. Thursday night will be the big evening for country music at the festival. Jill Johnson, Cookies and Beans and Swinging Doors are some of the other acts performing that night.

Studio update
We started early this morning with the recordings, but we´ll have to go back there for at least one more day to finish the songs. There are some brand new pictures in our photo section, some from the studio and some from the Garden of lights gig friday night.

First day of recording
Today it´s the first day in the studio and BC will start recording the new songs. Niklas L-O Wiklund is the man behind the buttons and will surely make a good job.

Garden of lights
Tonight 4 out of 9 from Ben Carbine and the 18 wheelers will play acoustic at the Garden of lights. The gig is private so there are no tickets available. Next chanse to see us live will be at Johanna i parken on the 30th of May.

New merchandise incoming
There will be some brand new BC t-shirts available in about two weeks. The t-shirts will have the old classic BC truck logo on the front and will be available in different colours.

Next month when we will go into the studio to record three of our own brand new songs. The song are called Love on trial, Gone fishin´ and Good time.

Back into the studio
Ben Carbine & the 18 wheelers are planning to go back into the studio to record three new songs in the beginning of May. It´s the same studio and same producer as the last time. The songs have not been decided yet, but it looks like at least two out of three songs will be our own.

New band memberSteel guitarist Rusty Steelburgh (formerly known as Peter Ivansson) is the latest addition to the BC line-up. We are very glad to have him aboard the 18 wheeler and we are confident that he will make us sound even better in the future.

Balzac unplugged 13/3Ben Carbine & the 18 wheelers will send four members who will perform an unplugged show at Balzac this upcoming thursday (13/3). No tickets are available - the show is private and exclusive for the special invited guests.

Ben Carbine to FuruvikBen Carbine & the 18 Wheelers will be playing at the Scandinavian Country Music Festival in Furuvik this summer. Taste updateWhen Ben Carbine entered the stage at Taste last night the fans were already there, well warmed up by the excellent band Royal Delta Rangers. Tickets for TasteThere are only a few dinner tickets left for the Taste gig on Saturday 23rd. The dinner tickets are 240:- and includes entrance fee + one beer. If you only want to listen to the music then you only pay the entrance fee 80:- directly at the door.

Tour schedule 2008The tour planning for the summer is Ben Carbines current interest. There are many possible upcoming gigs for this summer, but there are still some lose ends to be tied to close the deals. We hope to seal some contracts for some gigs before the end of this month. As soon as anything of interest is ready we will post it here, so be sure to come back and visit us again soon.

Steel guitar visitBen Carbine & the 18 wheelers was back in the studio today rehearsing for the first time this year. Steel guitarist Peter Ivansson from the Tribe made a guest appearance and added some sweet country sound with his instrument. Hopefully we´ll get the chanse to play with him again.

Crowded Christmas concertAbout 250 fans were gathered for the Ben Carbine concert at Balzac last night. The gig was definitly the highlight of the year and maybe the biggest moment in the BC history. All the members of Ben Carbine would like to thank their fans for a great night and also wish you all a happy new year.

Live at BalzacChristmas is upon us and we are rehearsing and making some final adjustments for the gig at Balzac on December 26. All dinner tickets are sold out, but there are still concert tickets available for 60 kr. Tickets can be bought at Balzac. The bar opens at 8 PM and the concert starts around 9 PM.

Aurum re-visitedLast night Ben Carbine played at Hotel Aurum in Skellefteå for the second time this fall. The 18 wheelers machinery was missing both Clay Cohones and Billy TT Justice and therefor had their favourite stand-in drummer Steven G-Line back in the line up. Stevens last BC performance was in Drängsmark December 9 2006. Steven made a terrific job behind the drums and we can´t thank him enough.

Concert reviewThere was a lot of dancing in the crowd at Folkets Hus in Boliden last night. Ben Carbine played about 35 songs during the 3*45 minutes long concert. For the nights encore the band played Tim McGraws "I like it I love it", Sammy Kershaws "Tennessee girl" and finally "East bound and down" by Jerry Reed.
