Citizen Clay can´t stay
Clay Cohones joined the band in January 2006, and now, almost three years later he feels it is time to get off the 18 wheeler. Clay will from now on focus 100% on his kids, his other band Citizen Kane and his newly found love from Haparanda. Clay will now join Lance, Rusty,Newhill and the other legends in our Hall of fame.

So long Steelburgh!
Ben Carbine & the 18 Wheelers loses a man and is now down to only 8. Steel guitar player Peter Ivansson, formerly known as Rusty Steelburgh, has decided to leave the band. Rusty joined the band in january 2008 and played in total 9 gigs with the band. The career highlight was the gig at Scandinavian Country Music Festival. To enter the stage in Furuvik was something like a dream come true for Rusty. Ben Carbine & the 18 wheelers wishes him the best of luck in his future regarding life, love and country music. Rusty has of course now also been officially chosen for the Ben Carbine Hall of Fame! the Ben Carbine

Ben Carbine to Ydre
Ben Carbine & the 18 Wheelers are set to perform Friday and Saturday, July 3-4 , at Ydre Country Festival 2009. Jill Johnson, Cheatin´Hearts, Inger Nordström, Baskery and Linda Gail Lewis are some of the artists that performed at the festival in 2008. Ydre Country Festival started back in 2004 and during the years artists like Wanda Jackson, Danny Leigh, Rednex, Don Redmon Band, Western Satellites have performed on their stage.

BC September update
New gigs have been added to our truck stop schedule. Steve Dustriver and his Skellefteå FF have qualified for division 1. A few new songs have been written and some new covers have also been added.

Boat club gig
Buck, Edielou, Steve and Dex played last night at the boat club in Kåge for a crowded house. Everybody had a real good time and when we played "Every little thing" almost everybody grabbed a partner on the dance floor.

The BC gig that was scheduled on the 4th of September has been canceled. New date will be announced.
