Country SM - 2nd coming
Ben Carbine once again have qualified for the Swedish Country Music Championship finals. The competition will take place in Sälen in the beginning of October. Curly Ann from Stockholm and Monica Silverstrand with her band Country Rox are the other two bands who have been chosen for the finals. i

John Henry + Ben Carbine
Ben will be supported by the Swedish bluegrass champions John Henry from Piteå when they visit Taste 27/3. Both bands just came back after a fantastic weekend at the Ultimate Country Cruise down in Stockholm. Both John Henry and Ben Carbine will also play at Hålogaland Country Festival in Norway in August this year. The music at Taste next Saturday will start around 20:00.

And the winner is...
Ben Carbine and the 18 wheelers has won the Swedish Country Music Championship! The 11 hour long trip home was a lot easier after recieving the goldmedal. Thanks to all of you who supports and cheers for us, we love you all!!!

Ben Carbine will have to perform without their fiddler Urban Bourbon in Vännäs tomorrow. Urban and the rest of the band apologizes but the band promise to give their best to fill out his spot.

A new Ben Carbine video clip has been added on youtube by a fan who filmed us at the Ydre Countryfestival. The song is called "Roll on 18 wheelers" and is written by Ben Carbine.

Home sweet home
After a 1000 kilometer long drive yesterday we´re finally back home after a fantastic weekend in Ydre. We met lots of great people and had a really good time. The people working with the festival were very nice and helpful and we will definitly come back another year if we get the chance.

It´s almost time for Ydre Countryfestival to start and Ben Carbine left Skellefteå early this morning. Tomorrow night at 19:00 BC will enter the stage as the first act of the festival. Ben Carrbine will also be playing on Saturday 20:00. If you see us on the road... honk if you honkytonk!

Ben Carbine in Kåge - Saturday 13.00
Ben Carbine and the 18 wheelers will perform live on Saturday in Kåge at the annual Boat Day event. The show starts at 13 and lasts about an hour. Later that night Ben Carbine will perform acoustic in the Boat Café. Hope to see y´all there!
